Why does this site exist?
Because the city of Miami, Oklahoma has a transparency problem, and nobody else was documenting it. This site is run by the MoveWeight Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. We aggregate public records, meeting transcripts, court filings, news coverage, and watchdog reporting — all in one place. No login. No paywall. No ads.
This started with one question: why is it so hard to know what your own city government is doing? We are building practical tools to answer that question: FOIA submission, public-source monitoring, crime feed, meeting transcripts, evidence archives, and plain-language links back to original records.
How It Works
Data Collection
We scrape, download, and archive public information from government sites, YouTube feeds, court databases, and news outlets. If it's public, we collect it before it disappears.
Smart Filtering
We filter for Miami and Ottawa County relevance. No clickbait, no out-of-state noise — just what matters here.
Open Access
Everything we publish is already public record. We just organize it so you can actually find it and use it.
